Day 02: After an early morning breakfast on the 2nd day of your tour you leave for Munnar. On your arrival you check-into a hotel. You are free to spend the day as you wish to. You stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: On the third day of your tour itinerary you have an early morning breakfast and travel to Thekkady in Kerala, India. A boat cruise through the backwaters near Thekkady can prove to be a soul stirring tour with the cool crisp breeze caressing you while you are enjoying a heavenly sight with quacking ducks and dense palm groves casting their mystic shadows on the tranquil backwaters in Kerala, India.

Wildlife, Periyar VacationsThekkady is synonymous with wildlife and nature treks. During your houseboat cruise you could stopover at this fascinating town and watch the wild animals in their natural habitat.

Day 04: On the 4th day of your tour itinerary you have an early breakfast at the hotel and then go on a tour to Kumily. Kumily is a pleasant plantation village that is situated at a distance of 4 kilometers from Thekkady in Kerala, India. You can visit the local market in Kumily in Kerala, India that happens to be quite an attraction for the tourists. Kumily is famous for being an important spice trade center. You stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 05: On the 5th day of your tour itinerary you leave early in the morning and move towards Kumarakom, a popular tourist destination on the Kerala backwaters in Kerala, India. On your arrival you check in at the hotel. You spend the day at leisure and stay at the hotel overnight.

Day 06: On the 6th day of your tour itinerary you check out from the hotel in Kumarakom and board a kettuvallom or a traditional Kerala houseboat. You spend the day cruising through the placed and picturesque Kerala backwaters. You are free to simply sit and watch the wonders of nature or do something more adventurous and actually fish while you are enjoying your houseboat cruise on the kettuvallom. These houseboats are made of jackwood plants that are joined together with coir and are coated with heated cashew kernel.

You can see the mail boat carrying the morning newspaper and mail cruising past you and boats selling vegetables and fruits moving past you. You get to watch local fishermen at work and people on the shores going about their daily chores.

You stay overnight on the houseboat and enjoy a dream cruise.

You have the choice to go sunbathing, indulge your self with herbal body massages and besides all this you have the option to enjoy catamaran rides and other water sports.

Day 08: On the 8th day of your tour itinerary you have your breakfast and proceed on an entire days city tour to Trivandrum, Kerala, India. You can spend the evening as you please and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 09: On the 9th day of your tour itinerary you drive to Kanyakumari in Kerala, India. You stay overnight at the hotel and on the next day your tour operator arranges for you to fly back to Cochin in Kerala, India so that you can proceed towards your onward destination.
